Tracy Quan at The Daily Beast poses the question in her column this week, as Spitzer’s “matchmaker,” Kristen Davis, releases a memoir, called The Manhattan Madam, about running America’s “most successful” prostitution ring. In the book she allegedly dishes about some of her famous clients—but should she just keep her mouth shut?

“most successful”? They got caught, I wouldn’t call that successful.

I hate that the reason for voting yes they should talk is partly “im curious”, so what. Not everything juicy needs to be shared, illegal or not. So should people who download music illegally not care when their friends rat them out? because after all it is illegal. What about women who pop into a mens bathroom ( I realize only some women do, not all) when there is a line around the block for the womens and nobody in the mens, should men grab a security gaurd and file a complaint since it is illegal?

Also: purchasing sex or sexual companionship is illegal in the US- but not in a lot of West Europe, or Australia and NZ.  Here the general public are still dead curious I’m sure if the gossip gets out about some individual. But if both individuals involved are consenting adults and no coercion has taken place (as should be the case obviously) then the naming is just for the sake of sensationalism and rather a betrayal x

It’s not illegal in Nevada.

Not all of Nevada.  Counties over 400,000 residents may legalize brothels, if they choose; and not all counties have chosen to do so.  Prostitution outside a brothel is a misdemeanor in Nevada, even though street prostitutes still try to obtain work.

Yes, Las Vegas has a law against it. I think you have to go 50-60 miles out.
