Oh Noes! Prescriptives Cosmetics Going Out Of Business
Prescriptives, the makeup company known for skin care-friendly products and custom blends, is going out of business. Apparently, the brand, a division of Estee Lauder, hasn’t been performing well, and its shutdown is part of company restructuring. Eek! What comes next? Please don’t take away our Bobbi Brown or Clinique goods (seems unlikely).
Anyhow, it’s a shame because we’ve long been obsessed with their Magic line foundations, which have the greatest texture. Luckily, Prescriptives fans now have fair warning, as wholesale distribution will end in January, and the rest of the stock will be sold on the Prescriptives website until supplies last. Better stock up now before you have to scour eBay! [Wall Street Journal]

I work at an Aveda salon, Aveda is also owned by Estee Lauder and they are restructuring Aveda’s makeup lines, so if you have any favorites pick them up before they are gone!!

I worked for Prescriptives for many years as a trainer and it broke my heart when they announced that we were going out of business. I will always love these products. I started trying everything out there to see what could replace my beloved skincare and I found Rodan + Fields Dermatologists. The results have been amazing. No makeup, but my skincare dilemma has been solved! I actually love it so much that I decided to represent R+F. See if it will give you the results that you want. https://ngalante.myrandf.com/ To show you that they are serious about the results, you can even try the products for 60 days and if you don’t love what you see, you get your money back!
