Fashion Weeks—from New York to Paris—are where new trends are born for clothes, as well as for the makeup and accessories that complete designers’ visions. We spent time backstage during New York Fashion Week, checking out what’s coming up on the makeup front, when CND (that’s Creative Nail Design) invited us to see what their amazing nail stylists, Roxanne Valinoti, Angi Wingle, and Kristina Estrabrooks, created for 20 designers with the endlessly versatile
Colour & Effects line. Click through for eight wow-worthy sets of digits, and tell us whether you use your nails as a canvas for daring looks or if you keep it simple with pink or red polish.

Catherine, I love all of your nail polish related posts! As a nail fanatic, it always puts a smile on my face to read about one of my favorite things on my favorite website.

Has anybody found a matte gray nail polish in stores? I can only find it online and would rather see it in person before I buy it.

@Hurricane KC: Super Matte is available from CND (http://www.cnd.com/Products/Product.aspx/1220)
@Leese: If you want to buy a separate matte polish and not a matte topcoat like Super Matte, try a beauty supply store, and look out for Zoya Loredana or OPI Matte You Don’t Know Jacques!
