Quick Pic: Nia Long Takes It All Off For PETA

Nia Long

Nia Long is the newest victim model in PETA‘s anti-fur campaign. Could this photo be any more retouched? She looks like a mannequin. And what’s up with that pole between her legs? We bet that cold metal didn’t feel so good against her no-no area.

@Nikki Could you explain what you mean by “PETA’s anti-fun campaign”? I’m not going to argue that the photo looks pretty ridiculous, and I tend to disagree with PETA’s campaign tactics, but I’d find it pretty horrific if you are somehow equating the brutal practice of fur “production” to fun. Please tell me I’m wrong…

On my second read of your post, I’m thinking it was a typo and you meant “anti-fur” campaign, right? My apologies.

That pole was never anywhere near her no-no area. That’s one of the worst retouching jobs I’ve ever seen. We aughta flag that one for photoshopdisasters.com.

This ad was done by professionals? Perhaps their software license expired, so they used Paint instead.

Gross, who knows what diseases you’d get from wrapping your naked legs around a pole on the subway. I think I’d rather wear fur.

That looks way too clean to be a real subway.

I can’t believe people think that pole between her legs is real…do you also think they stuck those big red and white letters on her?

Saw this today about the models used for PETA campaigns, so timely and funny.

Who are the people behind these campaigns? Sexist and poorly produced. As a vegetarian and graphic artist I’m doubly offended. PETA gives both a bad name. Ew.

Oh…and as a NYC subway rider I’m offended by the grotty portrayal of the trains. They’re much cleaner now. Triple Ew.

Sorry - I just assumed it was NYC. The seats are the wrong color. I take the last Ew reluctantly back.

there are too many things wrong with this, but the worst in my opinion, is the fact that she shouldn’t have worn heels had she known they’d throw the pole between her legs.
