Newsflash: Jon Gosselin Desperately Trying To Stall Divorce From Kate

Stop the divorce presses! We’ve heard via Popeater that Jon Gosselin has had a change of heart and now no longer wants to divorce Kate, who just a few weeks ago he accused of verbally abusing him and said he “despised.” Jon’s lawyer has put in a request that the divorce be stalled for 90 days. “I regret my conduct since Kate and I separated…I used poor judgment in publicly socializing with other women so soon,” he’s supposedly told In Touch magazine. “[This time will] enable Kate and me to restore our relationship as cooperative parents and to open up our lines of communication…Even though we were heading for a divorce, it appeared that Kate had been suffering from this divorce as much as I had. That’s why I asked my attorney to put the brakes on this divorce so I could try to regain control over the future of our family. So Kate and I could join on a cooperative course that would benefit our family—not destroy it.”
I don’t know, buddy. The skeptic in me says that the media frenzy has died down and he got the word that TLC was changing the show’s name from “Jon & Kate Plus Eight” to “Kate Plus Eight,” and asked himself, “What can I do to stay in the spotlight? Begging for forgiveness could work.” [In Touch via Popeater]

If he’s honestly sorry for what a d-bag he’s been, and wants to establish a better relationship with Kate in order to raise their children in a healthy environment, then I’m glad. However, attempting to reconcile their marriage may be a lost cause at this point. He’s been burning bridges before he even got all the way across them as far as that goes.

I had a dream the other night that I was Jon Gosselin. It was terrible and my life was ruined. Both Jon and Kate have lost their lives and their family. Leave them alone. Both of them have been hurt and hurt others. Jeez.

CNN.com said the show will be ‘Kate plus Eight’ but TLC will still have Jon under ‘exclusive contract’. To me, that sounds like he can’t go out and do a TV show elsewhere. No wonder he wants back in - he’s losing his earning potential! And I just don’t see these two having any sort of pre-nup. He’s about to be broke as can be. Wonder if his little babysitters/girlfriends will like him now?! What a douche.

Jon put the brakes on the divorce proceedings so that he can renegotiate the terms of the settlement…now that he is unemployed and probably broke.He made it perfectly clear in recent interviews that he despises Kate and had no interest in “working things out,” with regards to the kids or anything else. But, now it looks like she holds the purse strings. There is no doubt in my mind that he is going to go after BIG time alimony, especially since Kate is the primary breadwinner and their divorce has not yet been finalized.Jon is an idiot, but he knows which side his bread is buttered on. How are he and his teeny bopper girlfriend going to maintain their extravagant lifestyle? Neither of them seems to know how to hold down a job. Playing with your kids for a living can not be considered a “real” job. Kate gave him just enough rope to hang himself! She will be the one smirking all the way to the bank.

JOHN GOSSELIN IS A CREEP IF EVER THERE WAS ONE…..
After watching this guy on the Larry King show with his attorney last week, and reading that he withdrew a large sum of money out of the family bank account, I wasn’t with Kate before, but God I definitely am now! This creep of a man, who now says: “He’s learned his lesson, and he’s grown up” after week after week of Las Vegas partying and a new woman each week, he would have the nerve to take a dime out of a family savings account, when he saw his party days were coming to an end, proves he’s a complete piece of crap.
The way he likes to live it up, a large amount of money won’t last him very long, but he’s actually taking away from his kids. I pray the courts make him restore that money back to the account, and she goes on without this looser to make a better life for herself and her children, (without him), and he will be made to support his children no matter what his income picture looks like in the future…........ GOD I CANNOT BELIEVE THE PEOPLE WE CHOOSE SOMETIMES IN ORDER TO HAVE OUR CHILDREN….
