New Hampshire Teen Has The Titties To Test The Law

Eighteen-year-old Cassidy Nicosia of New Hampshire really cares about equality. That’s why she decided to see what would happen if she walked down the streets of her town topless and packing heat in a holster. Now that takes some balls titties! Why did she do this? Cassidy is a member of the Free State Project, an effort to convince 20,000 peace-loving people to move to New Hampshire, get involved in activism, and run for local office. Cassidy says of her stunt, “Men can walk down the street ... and, you know, not get harassed at all but yet somehow this is dirty.” So how did her little experiment turn out?
Cassidy was arrested after some people complained about her topless toting, but the charges have been dropped after a more careful investigation. New Hampshire law states that a person commits indecent exposure and lewdness only if he or she fornicates, exposes their genitals or performs any other “act of gross lewdness … likely to cause affront or alarm.” Since boobs aren’t genitals (duh) and Cassidy wasn’t being lewd or indecent, she was well within her rights. As far as the pistol, NH citizens are allowed to carry a gun without a permit. This incident calls attention to perhaps a more pressing issue affecting our society today—that boobs make people temporarily insane. I think the Free State Project will have no trouble recruiting men to come live in a state where women prance the streets topless with guns and everyone is free and happy. It kind of sounds like a weird Utopian porno. [Free State Project]

A few years ago a woman challenged the no female top-lessness on the beach law in Kingston, Ontario. The case eventually went to the Supreme Court of Canada where it was rule that the law was invalid (for the same reason). The police chief was interviewed about the ruling. The headline for the story was ” Police Chief orders officers to take a hands-off approach.”

So am I to understand women never consider breasts (titties) as sex objects? If that is the case, what happens when in bed with your mate and sex becomes initiated. Would women feel better if men just ignored them ? Not likely. Lets try to be fair and honest and not make this a mens issue. Women today more than ever expose themselves with the way they dress and watch women when they go to stripper clubs. Thats insane… Women throw themselves at the strippers and have sex with them but first thing they do is pull their tops up, down or off. I was amazed at what I saw when visiting a bar once and somehow they allowed this stripper taping of a girls private party . Private? It was right in the middle of the bar. The guys came out and stripped slowly and as they did their shows the women went nuts grabbing them and jumping up on stage grabbing them and literally giving these strange men oral sex. Then young guys came out already stripped naked and let girls manhandle them as the men picked one woman out at a time to have sex with. These women let these guys have at them and did everything they were told to gladly. The men walked away and grabbed another and on and on for hours. Absolutely appalling in that it was public every bit public. Think about that for awhile. women have changed>>>

@gbayoo I hardly think the fact that “women have changed” and no longer feel obligated to keep their sensuality behind closed doors is relevant here. As for breasts as sexual objects, they are no more or less sexual than men’s chests- some men like their nipples rubbed too. By your logic, that would men men should have to cover up too.

Considering that I’m a virgin and have never seen any of the things you’re describing or been to a strip club, I can only speak for myself and my limited knowledge. But I agree with Arsenic on this one, just like for men, my chest is merely the space between my stomach and neck. Breasts are not genitalia.
Also, I really enjoyed it when the last guy I went out with kissed my neck and nibbled my ears. Are my neck and ears sexual now, too? Should I cover them up when I go in public?
And I don’t dress provocatively or “throw myself at strippers”. I wear T-shirts and jeans, even in the middle of summer, in the desert. Don’t attack or make assumptions on my sexuality just because you don’t agree with legal toplessness. How about you try to be “fair and honest”, ok?

As far as gbayoo is concerned: maybe I’m wrong, but her/his (one and only) comment read like I’d expect an ad for a certain few porn websites to read, and it didn’t strike me as remotely genuine. I was insulkted and tagged and just made to sound like a well a man but minority type male. I was only trying to tell something I never saw before. It was not cool Isn’t that against the law?
