Music On Inside The Obama White House NBC Special

Last night, part one of “Inside the Obama White House” aired on NBC with the dreamy Brian Williams hosting. The behind-the-scenes look at a day at the White House makes us want to quit our jobs to hang out in the Oval Office (or, you know, answer someone’s phone). Since Williams makes a point of pointing out the music staffers play, including the national security advisor’s preference for U2, we couldn’t help but notice the music NBC chose to accompany the hour-long special.

Here’s a sampling of the tunes NBC used to accompany “Inside the Obama White House”:

“Wonderful” by Everclear
“Say It Right” by Nelly Furtado
“Let Me Blow Ya Mind” by Eve feat. Gwen Stefani
“Young Folks” by Peter Bjorn and John
“Shut Up and Let Me Go” by the Ting Tings
“Day and Night” by Kid Cudi
“Sinner Man” by Nina Simone
“Never Leave You (Uh Oooh, Uh Oooh)” by Lumidee
“Can I Get A…” by Jay-Z

Tonight, the special continues with a look at a day’s happenings in the East Wing. We hope there are more clips of the Obamas kissing!
