These adorable little micro-piglets are bred to stay as tiny as possible for their entire lives. They are the newest pet of choice in England because they’re insanely cute, very affectionate, and as low-maintenance as cats. I want 20 of them. In my one-bedroom apartment. And no, I won’t name them all Wilbur. [CNN]

They’re adorable. Also, they’re meal-sized, so you could get a breeding pair and then have love, affection, and breakfast every day.

Aw, so cute. I want a micro-piglet. As long as one would let me pick it up and not squeal horribly. But I would feel horribly guilty every time I cooked bacon or pork.

Niiiice. But how trainable are they? And what about genetic defects from intensive breeding for a single trait? And why can’t I just be all like “Awww, tiny baby animals!” and not get so serious about it? Hmmm.
