Something about the idea of Megan Fox being totally un-famous and struggling with a blender makes me smile. Ha! I had the same thought. I’m sure these entertainers must be sitting at home thinking “I’ll probably make as much money on my next movie, album, or TV series as the average Joe will earn in his entire working life, but gosh darn it, I’m terribly embarrassed that I worked a service job as a teenager and I can hardly bear the thought that people might be laughing at me.”

i had a totally different take on the article—- being someone who can’t finish college for financial and family related reasons and currently working my ass off at a dead-end menial job, it’s some measure of comfort that doing so doesn’t mean i’m a totally worthless human being (which a lot of customers like to tell me on a daily basis, no matter how nice i am to them.)

here are people who are famous all over the world, and before they were, they did the same things i’m doing now.

makes me feel a little better.

@ciarabug- I agree and had the same reaction about the article that you did. I’m doing the same thing you’re doing and I have had a few customers do that to me, to my face, even though I went out of my way to be nice to them. It makes me remember to always try to be nice to people because you never know.

I saw Fox on SNL and if she’s banking on her acting - she better put that bangin body RIGHT back in a banana suit!
