Kim Zolciak’s Check Is “Tardy for the Party”

Kim Zolciak‘s song “Don’t Be Tardy for the Party,” which was recorded during an episode of “The Real Housewives of Atlanta,” has been removed from iTunes because producer Don Vito still owns the copyright to the song and hasn’t been paid yet for Kim’s studio time. The song was number three on iTunes for four days last week, according to a source who spoke with E! Online. Kim’s rep had no comment, but Don Vito (he doesn’t have one of those first names that sounds right without the last name) only had pleasant things to say about Kim (unlike that other producer Dallas Austin): “I think [Kim] is a good person and it was fun working in the studio with her. We made a great record and I look forward to working with her on the album again.” [E! Online]

I can understand why Kim may have “forgotten” to pay Don Vito. She probably thought, like I did, that Bravo was footing the entire bill. Not that cast member Kandi Burruss doesn’t seem like a helpful person, but I was really convinced that the show’s producers whispered in her ear and said: “We need to make Kim a hit this season because she doesn’t really have a story line, aside from people picking fights with her.” The network has the most to gain if she becomes a successful singer. How many episodes and ratings increases have they gotten out of Kim’s failed-then-resurrected singing career? But then again, we all know Kim is used to someone else footing her bills. Big Poppaaaa, it’s time to write another check!

Phew.. so glad I purchased this gem already. I’m not gonna lie.. it has a way of taking up too much precious space in an already cramped mind. It might be the worst song I have liked, but I’m really ok with that.

What’s really shocking about this article is that it was the number three song on iTunes for four days. yikes!

Can anyone tell me… if you listen to this song enough… will you ever get it out of your head? If the answer is yes, thank God. If the answer is no… then i guess I’m just stuck with it, huh?

The song was alright but it was “over-crunk” by the show. I wouldn’t pump it in my ride. It’s not on my must have list either. It has a nice beat that’s about it. Sorrry!!

The song is OK, but Kim doesn’t deserve anything, let alone her own song. This crazy self centered, selfish bit@* makes me wanna puke every time I see her. Why Candi would even agree to help her is beyond me. Kim thinks she is the greatest thing in the world and she must say “God I’m so gorgeous” at least 5 times throughout the show…needless to say I can’t stand her and she CANNOT sing worth a crap, please Candi spare yourself the heartache she will cause you down the line, because she only uses people for what she wants and then your history!
