Katy Perry is suing Australian “luxury loungewear” designer, Katie Perry, over the use of ~~their~~ her name. Apparently, even though 2-year-old line doesn’t include candy colored rompers, the pop tart wants her to back off on exploiting her name for branding purposes.

Katie Perry didn’t take this so well. “I got such a huge shock. It really felt like I was being intimidated and bullied into signing everything away. [The papers] asked me to give up the trademark, withdraw sales of my clothes, withdraw any advertising and any Web sites and sign that I will not in the future use a similar trademark to Katy Perry. I pretty much burst into tears.” All this over some yoga pants? Frankly, we don’t know what all the fuss is about because even when you Google Katie Perry clothes or Australia, the singer is the only one that comes up, despite the misspelling. Katy has clearly already taken over the world! Besides, there are a bunch of other famous peeps who have done just fine for themselves sharing a name with someone less famous. Katy Perry blows! Like really coming from the person who used the worse gimmick ever to get famous (hopefully not for much longer), it’s REAL nice for her to get mad a chick halfway across the world trying to sell a T-shirt. Like, why squash someone else’s game like that? She can’t help the damn name she was given. America’s Katy Perry needs to get a voice lesson and go “Kiss a girl” somewhere, maybe it’ll take up a bit of her time and save us from at least one more of her mediocre songs…

Katy Perry needs to go into obscurity already. I really hate bullies. It’s unfair for her to force Australian woman whose name is ACTUALLY Katie Perry to change the name of her company. Why doesn’t that bitch of singer use her actual name, Katheryn Elizabeth Hudson,instead. You know what Zooey Deschanel should sue Katy Perry for looking like her as well ::rolls eyes::

Katy Perry will NEVER be Zooey Deschanel! Not pretty or unique enough. And tries too hard. She should just stop trying right now.
