Katherine Heigl’s Trash Talking Could Get Her Killed Off “Grey’s Anatomy”

Katherine Heigl gave David Letterman the “Ugly Truth” last night. While promoting her new movie on the “Late Show,” Heigl revealed that her first day back at “Grey’s Anatomy”—where filming stretched to 17 hours—was “cruel and mean.”

Last time we saw Heigl’s character, we were left wondering whether Izzie Stevens would survive brain surgery. Heigl hinted to Letterman that she’s still around this season, either as a miraculous survivor or a ghost. But I’m thinking what the writers decide for Izzie lies more in what comes out of Katherine’s mouth than the hours she works. Heigl backed up her labor complaint saying she hopes the “Grey’s” producers will be embarrassed now that everyone knows they are forcing actors to work such long days. But if Heigl keeps up her trash talking, I’m sure Izzie Stevens will “take a turn for the worse.” And Heigl’s workday will be much less taxing. Even non-existent. [MSNBC]

As a warning to Katherine, here’s a few other celebs who’s real-life beefs on set got them killed on-screen.

I, along with my friends who also watch Grey’s, were really really hoping it was Izzy who died and not George. Screw KH. She’s a whiney bitch. I’m all for a strong woman, but there’s a fine fine line between that and mean-spirited douche.

I saw Katherine Heigl on Good Morning America yesterday and there was no way she could look LESS interested when she was talking about Grey’s and her new movie. Girl, I know you think you’re hot stuff, but if you keep acting like a snotty brat, no one is going to watch your movies!

I’ve always wondered if she realizes that normal people often work long, hard days at jobs that pay a lot less than her job. Real doctors, for instance, work 12 hours on a good day and they don’t sit around for half of it getting hair and makeup done. I wouldn’t complain about working 17 hours once when you get paid millions. Do the hourly wage calculation and get back to my you lazy, selfish…...

My boyfriend works up to a 17 (almost 24, if it rains) hour day digging holes in 90+ florida heat in a long sleeve shirt for the electric company just to pay his bills. That’s hard work. Not sitting in a casting chair in the a/c with your sparkling water making millions of dollars to look pretty. I used to like her….

KH stopped being cute after Under Siege 2. Her Grey’s Anatomy-based popularity really got to her head. And 27 Dresses? Dumbest ending in the history of movies, next to P.S. I Love You, after which I think the Earth stopped rotating it was so bad. Yes, I actually saw them.
