Kanye West’s “We Were Once A Fairytale” And Other Celebs’ Violent Videos

You can’t say the words “video” and “controversy” without also saying the name “Madonna.” In the director’s cut of her 2003 “American Life” video, shot just before the start of the Iraq war, the singer dances atop an armored vehicle in fatigues with large black female foot soldiers in tow. She then throws a hand grenade into a fashion show, blasting images of worldwide war atrocities on the screen.
