Jon And Kate Continue Their Pity Party Tour
Kate Gosselin, whose hair keeps getting bigger and waistline continues to shrink, sat down with “Today”‘s Natalie Morales for a one-hour interview set to air tonight on TLC. The “Today” Show aired a few minutes of the interview this morning, during their daily dose of Gosselin. We learned that Kate is still sad and Jon, who spoke out in a New York City synagogue last night with Rabbi Shmuley Boteach, a spiritual adviser to the stars, “is sorry” for his bad-boy behavior in the months since he and Kate announced their divorce. He explains: “It’s hard for a man to stay home for two years and change diapers and make meals and deal with, like, doctors appointments and all the stuff you expect your wife to do.” So, naturally, when he got a taste of freedom, he had to, you know, do what a man has to do—neglect his kids and boink 22-year-olds! As much as I disagree with these two airing their dirty laundry all over the place, I honestly can’t help but sympathize with them a little. They’re still human beings going through an incredibly difficult situation. Do I think Kate should be crying about this on tv? Probably not. But that doesn’t mean I don’t feel sorry for her when she does.

Please, these people are a complete joke. I can’t help but laugh seeing their antics all over the TV. I have no sympathy for them, because if they really wanted to make a change they would stop sitting down for weekly interviews, talking about nothing! Seriously who cares? If you don;t want cameras following you, stop calling them every time you leave the house, stop calling the morning shows after every conversation. We know this is all part of a silly game, so you whining about it, just makes you look stupid. Go away! So since they no longer have a show they are just to do these bs weekly interviews? Give me a break! Go do something productive, like raise your kids and get a job! Both of them are so gross.

“...all the stuff you expect your wife to do.” Are you kidding me!?! Clearly this guy thinks his job stopped once he finished donating the sperm. What a jerk!

@BrokenOpen, that’s what stuck out most for me. He’s actually using staying home with his kids as an EXCUSE?! Because changing diapers and Dr. apts are things you expect YOUR WIFE TO DO?! Did he wake up in 1955? He is king of the schmucks and gets more and more jerky as the days go by. Those kids are better off without his dumb influence.

Kate deftly beat around the bush last night and didn’t honestly answer any of the real serious questions..like: 1.Why doesn’t she have a relationship with any of her family? 2.Who REALLY was the first to say the marriage was over? 3.Why did Jon finally leave? Answers: 1.Kate alienated everybody who ever cared about her, with her control-freak, my way or the highway attitude. 2.She was the one who told Jon it was over, and then refused to go for counseling with him. 3.Jon left because he was sick and tired of being emasculated by his wife. Of course, it now appears she is better off without him. But until she “owns” the problems in her life which SHE created, she is destined to never learn from those mistakes.

Jon complained that he got tired of changing diapers, making meals, etc? First of all,the kids were already out of diapers when Kate began traveling on book tours…tours which Jon DID NOT want to go on. He wanted to stay home.Next, there have always been nannies. cooks, housekeepers, groundskeepers and anybody else needed to keep that house running, whether Kate was there or just Jon. Jon basically stayed home and played with his kids and got paid pretty damn well for staying home to play with those kids! He hasn’t had a “real” job in years! Within a year of this divorce being final Jon will be flat broke and petitioning the court for alimony from Kate.

“It’s hard for a man to stay home for two years and change diapers and make meals and deal with, like, doctors appointments and all the stuff you expect your wife to do.” WOW. I can understand that making a big lifestyle change (ie working > staying home) could be stressful, but, just, wow.

They’re both a joke but they’re the only ones that don’t know it – AND each acting like they’re the sympathetic favorites. Crazy.
