Jake Gyllenhaal Lego Isn’t Nearly Hot Enough

Jake Gyllenhaal Lego

Here’s the latest entry into the celebrity doll house: the fine folks at Lego have decided to make an action figure of Jake Gyllenhaal in the upcoming movie “Prince of Persia.” But, um, didn’t they forget something? And by that, I mean his insane hotness. Couldn’t they have at least given us a set of more chiseled abs or some seriously brooding eyes? Hopefully, if they ever decide to make a figure of Jake in “Donnie Darko” or “Brokeback Mountain,” they’ll go for a more true-to-life approach. [People]

Normally, I think he’s a handsome guy, but every picture I see of him in that hair for this movie makes me laugh uncontrollably.  I sense a box office bomb brought on by that ‘do.

@Lilypie: I agree that hair is terrible on such a hottie.  The weirdest thing about the Lego figure is that it has the horrible black wig and thick black eyebrows then a thin brown mustache and goatee…I don’t get it.

Since when does Jake Gyllenhaal look like the dude from Prince of Persia? I checked out the promo picks and everyone but the lead character seems expertly cast. Have none of the directors/producers seen the pixellated hottie that’s in the game??

@Katrina you are so right. i know they were looking for star power in jake gyllenhaal, but the Prince of Persia definately needs some exotic hotness, not just your run of the mill American hotness.

I haven’t seen such bad hero hairdo since Colin Farrell in Alexander the great.

I know there’s some actual Southern Asian/Middle Eastern/North African actors who could do it just as well, but I can’t think of their names at the moment. For a white guy, even James Caviezel looks more the part than Jake does.

It’s almost like seeing the “whitebread” Jesus in Christian biblical art. It just ain’t right.

Here’s a couple of guys:

Better eyes than Jake, in my opinion. Or there’s

who I think is a great actor. Or maybe even this guy?
