Is Silvio Berlusconi A Sex Addict?

How convenient. According to Fox News, Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi is being encouraged by those closest to him that he needs to seek help for his “sex addiction.” The PM has been embroiled in molto controversy ever since he attended an 18-year-old’s birthday party, engaged in sexy phone calls with her, allegedly had sex with a call girl, and supposedly tried to fill parliament seats with actresses and showgirls. His wife has since filed for divorce because of these icky shenanigans. While Berlusconi certainly has an over-the-top sexual appetite, I’m a little sick of boys behaving badly using the “sex addict” excuse. There’s been some debate as to whether “sex addiction” is for real—I tend to think it definitely is, but I also don’t think it’s nearly as prevalent as the David Duchovnys of the world would have you believe. Some dudes can, but instead refuse to keep it in their pants. [Fox News]

I agree that sex addiction is a real disease but I tend to think that these politicians and celebrities end up sleeping around and being outrageous because they think they can. Having a huge ego is not part of sex addiction. I have seen some articles on the lives of people with sex addiction and its not glamorous and fun. It’s degrading, horrifying and dangerous and most seem to know that but are unable to stop because of the addiction. I feel like when politicians pull it out for a couple of hookers or mistresses it’s a cop out.

I live in Italy. The italian news papers reported a few weeks ago, he couldnt get it up even with viagra.
The guy is just a crook and should step down.
Also what the hell kind of parents encourage their daughter to send pics of themselves to older men?? Or dont severly ground them when they find out??
He constantly says that the whole world loves him.
France aptly calls him the Buffoon of Europe.
