If Sarah Palin Shopped For Her Campaign Clothes At Walmart…
Politico reported that the Republican National Committee has spent more than $150,000 on clothes and accessories for Sarah Palin and her family since she became the party’s vice presidential candidate in late August. This handsome allowance included spending sprees worth $49,425.75 at Saks Fifth Avenue, $75,062.63 at Neiman Marcus, and $4716.40 on hair and makeup. We’re not sure why America’s favorite model hockey mom is spending so much on her wardrobe when she could be shopping for similar styles at strip malls. Below, we show her how to get the same looks for less.

I’m with you. I’m going to add “Apostrophe” into my repertoire. This is dressing like a true, Pro-America, Jo Sixpack!

I swear she paid too much for those boots! They hit her calves at the wrong point and make her legs look heavy. I guess money can’t buy style!

FANTASTIC! I was just saying my Issac Mizrahi jacket looked just like something she’d wear, and at a tenth of the price!
Absolutely brilliant!

Oh, you did a great job with the paper doll Palins. Much more clever than my blog post of today (Sarah Palin should have gone to Wal-Mart).
Congratulations.

You did a great job here. It’s not hard at all to look nice on the cheap.

To spend that much on clothes is dumb, especially when joe six packs are having troblem paying their morgages. I don’t think soccer mom’s can find anything in common with that.

O.K. - she didn’t go out and buy or even pick-out them herself. True. BUT she did accept them - she could have said
she didn’t want to spend that much money and give people the wrong impression. I know she has a mouth. She didn’t voice any objection until it was published how much money was spent. Kinda funny to me. Me thinks she objects too much, too late. Can’t be one two sides of the fence at once-you don’t object means you accept what is done. Finished.

That is awesome - I do really like her clothes (although that’s the only thing I like about her). The funniest commentary I’ve seen on this whole situation is these paper dolls: http://www.booksonboard.com/index.php?BODY=viewbook&BOOK=335600
