Hulk Hogan

Last weekend, Hulk Hogan‘s girlfriend, Jennifer McDaniel (who looks nothing like Brooke), got the Hulk’s real name, Terry, tattooed on the inside of her right wrist. In return, the Hulk reportedly got a tattoo that says, “I AM THAT, I AM.” That sounds ... fair? [The Fab Life]

I have a laser tattoo removal session in an hour. Trust me when I say that getting someone’s name tattooed on you is a terrible idea. So, why is it that famous people are so susceptible to doing it? Here, a look at celebs who’ve gotten name tats. And yes, this is a whole new genre of celebrity tattoos beyond simple matching ones.

Well, at least Angelina is so famous that everyone knows who “Billy Bob” is. Can you imagine if she was just a regular person? “No, “Billy Bob” isn’t an ex-boyfriend, that’s just the name of my vagina! Wanna meet Cletus?”

These are people that clearly don’t abide by the same rules I do when it comes to tattoos: never get anyone’s name (or initials, or anything else that indicates a particular person) unless they are either a) your children or b) deceased.

It is not really very helpful when you are very impulsive. You tend to do things right away without thinking about the consequences and end up having regrets or feeling sorry for yourself.

My bf has his ex-wife’s name tattooed around his ring finger. Thankfully, he’s so dark skinned that it looks like a weird birthmark, and you can’t even read it. I know several of the Marines around here that have ex’s names tattooed on them in pretty visible places, and I wonder how any new girlfriends they get feel about seeing the ex’s name so often.

Pretty much I agree with I Go To 11 - only your kids or the deceased. Maybe your mother, if it’s a classy tattoo.

@Amandabear - I thought the same thing, and I nearly threw up a little. Especially from that angle, when all you can see is the blonde hair, tan skin, and big sunglasses, she looks sooooo much like Brooke.
