Heather Mills Creates Horrifying Eco-Friendly Clothing Line
You’d think someone who worked as a “model” would know a thing or two about clothes. Kate Moss, with her enormously popular line for Topshop, is the perfect example of this assumption coming true. But just because you have worn clothes for your job doesn’t mean you have the skills need to design clothes professionally. Case in point: Heather Mills, the latest celebrity to launch a clothing line.
Last Thursday at the Celebrity Catwalk charity event in L.A., Heather Mills debuted her new Be@one recycled clothing line. In our opinion, it looks like she went to Goodwill, bought some old prom dresses, and wielded a pair of scissors. Heather’s website says the new brand “is about to show there is nothing trashy about recycling unwanted clothing!” We couldn’t agree more that recycled clothes can be cool—just not the ones Heather “made.” [Celebitchy]
After the jump, our favorite looks from Heather’s Be@one collection. God help us if anyone buys them.

If you’re arguing that there is “nothing trashy” about your hideous new clothing line, I would suggest at the very least not crimping your models’ hair.

Well, she’s trashy so of course she designs trashy clothes. Ick!

I wonder if she’s trying to “compete” with Stella’s eco-fashion, *as if,* in her own twisted way with all that bad blood between them. Clearly she and her recycled bids for attention don’t have a leg to stand on. Yep, I went there.

Ummmm, Catherine? The only “modeling” (cough) Heather Mills ever did prior to McCartney getting her a few legitimate gigs was in NOT wearing clothes, you know? She has “never” had anything to do with “the world of fashion”—she just likes to pretend she did (just as she pretends everything else)… I’m thinking the only fashion show Heather could ever do that could be successful would be for Halloween…
Welcome to the mastery of Heather Mills… What is helpful or eco-friendly about buying up entire lots of recycleable clothing items that are decent and priced well for the less fortunate who need them? In their original form, they are sellable via this means — they are sellable, or they wouldn’t be being offered in the first place in these establishments… She is using establishments that are ALREADY DOING what she’s claiming to be doing — recycling decent clothing, but at very decent prices, so that these garments do NOT end up in a landfill when there are people who need and want them…
So, Heather, then, takes these bargain garments (that are desperately needed by those w. limited $$), cuts and slices them up to shreads — patches them on to each other in hideous fashion, and charges lots of money for them… Huh? Isn’t she single-handedly UNDOING the principle she is claiming to support? Not only this, but, what are they doing with all the garment scraps they are creating (that weren’t there before)? Hmmmmm — I’m guessing a landfill — a landfill where, now, both her scraps AND these hideous garments will all end up when, if left in their original forms at their original locations, likely would have been purchased and worn, thereby, furthering this highly needed service? Such a brilliant mind! And, people fall for this crap from her! LOL
Forgot to mention—the only angle that would make what Mills is doing unique and/or truly eco-friendly would be if she went to the landfills, themselves, and salvaged garments already there… There is nothing either noble or socially helpful in what she is doing here… But, of course, go to her website and listen to her herald her own ridiculous ploys as the incredible successes none of them are… No matter what the critics say, on her website, EVERYTHING she does is a glowing success… Ummmmm, not true even a little…

No—that is Anna Trebunskaya from Dancing with the Stars… She is a professional dancer and the wife of Jonathan Roberts who partnered w. Mills when Mills was on the show… You scared me for a minute there! LOL
