Heath Ledger’s Baby Mama Is Dating Spike Jonze

Michelle Williams has been struggling to remain strong for daughter Matilda after Heath Ledger’s death in January. But now, she seems to have found some happiness with director Spike Jonze. “Michelle kissed Spike with a closed mouth on the corner of his lips,” says an eyewitness to who saw the couple leaving Jonze’s Manhattan apartment. “There was definitely a little bit of caressing going on. She was clutching his arm. The body language was very romantic.”
This relationship couldn’t have come at a better time. Since all The Dark Knight furor began months ago, I’m sure Michelle has had a difficult time seeing Ledger’s The Joker ads everywhere. Seeing the heartbreak on Williams’ face after Ledger’s death was…well, heartbreaking. I hope this works out for Williams and Jonze, who once dated Drew Barrymore and was married to Sofia Coppola. And even if this doesn’t lead to happily-ever-after, they should at least have some fun. But I have to issue this warning to Jonze: Don’t break her heart. She’s been through enough. This was such a nicely written piece. I keep reading all these smutty, bashing articles about her “moving on too fast” and all and I’m just so happy that someone out there is talking sense. She has been through so much and I’m so happy for her that she has someone she can lean on and who can help her deal with the pain. It cannot be easy to keep a smile on her face in front of her daughter when all she wants to do is cry. I really hope she has nothing but happiness in her life. Or at least more happiness than tears…heaven knows she deserves it.

I agree. This is very well worded. It has to be very hard for Michelle to look into the eyes of that little girl who looks so much like her father. I whole heartedly believe that woman has a right to be happy. To move on. At her own pace. She had time to grieve their relationship prior to his death. She took time she needed to deal with his death. Let the poor girl smile finally. She deserves it more than anyone.

i totally disagree,she is moving to fast.7 month’s is way to early to be over grieveing for someone you love that much.i know,i lost my 44yr old husband to cancer. we were married 10yrs,i didn’t know how i was going to go on without him, it took me year’s before my heart stopped acheing. it’s coming up on 7yrs now each year got a little easier.we never had any children,we tried but it never happened. i think michelle should take it slow& devote her time to matilda who loved her daddy&must;be asking so many question’s. she must miss him so,so much,dear lord what do you tell a child at that young age.heath was a GREAT young actor& he was so HANDSOME . i still can’t believe he is gone,what a shame. i watch his movie’s alot& then it seem’s like he’s not gone at all.[IF ONLY FOR A LITTLE WHILE]REST IN PEACE,my darling HEATH.

In all fairness, she and Heath were split up when he died so she was recovering from a broken heart, or whatever, for a lot longer than just seven months.

Each person grieves and moves on in their own time. She had time to grieve and deal with losing him after their break up. Now she’s dealing with him being gone completely. She has said that one way she deals with it is by watching Matilda. A quote I read stated, “His family and I watch her day to day. It’s still not clear to her that he’s physically gone. But we see her talking to trees and big animals and taking two steps at a time as if she’s holding someone’s hand and we know he’s still with us all…watching over her…maybe even talking to her.” If she can move on and be a better mother for her baby girl then I say go for it. She’ll never get over losing the man who called her his soul mate…how can you?

It’s great for her to finally find someone who can help her deal with her past & future and after all that she’s been through, heath ledger must be happy for her that she has someone to lean on.

I am relieved Michelle has another man to spend some time with. It is very difficult to break up with someone who referred to you as their soulmate. Alot of marriages are on the rocks but they “tough it out” for the kids sake. Matilda is such a beautfil little girl and Heath probably visits w/ her and watches over her because he loves her dearly. Michelle will most likely find a boyfriend who looks like her dear Heath. Rest in peace, Heath! You certainly deserve the rest. Actors work too many long hours with not enough rest.

yes heath was special, there’s no doublt that .i am so pissed,i was on utube last night & someone took picture’s of him the day before he died & there is 1 where he fell down, & you see him lying on the ground.it is just so sad to look at it.what some people won’t do for a buck. Should it really even be an issue? Why can’t everyone just accept that people deal with everything in their own way. Just because one person moves on after 7 months (and we don’t even know she has) doesn’t mean that that should become the standard for the rest of the world. If she has, good for her. It’s not anyone else’s place to pass judgment on the way she handles a situation. Get over it.
