Jessica Simpson is known for her talent golden locks. Her hairstylist, Ken Paves, is known for his talent ability to manipulate said golden locks into perfect, gleaming platinum curls and bows and whistles via irons and curlers and extensions and lots of hairspray. Today, Simpson, seen checking out of the Ritz-Carlton in Manhattan, looks like she got a much-needed makeunder or something. Welcome to a world where very tan, bleached-out men don’t follow you around with a hairbrush, darling! It’s so freeing, no? To get the look, do nothing. Don’t even brush your hair. Add sunnies. The thing is, you still sound bitter and snarky, not light and factitious. Because almost everything in the post took a negative tone. If you’d actually said anything like ‘I like this look on her’ I wouldn’t have remarked on it at all.
No worries though, I tend to have a bitting sense of humor as well.

I love The Frisky but I really don’t like this type of post. From the infantile headline to the vapid content, it’s got “last minute, thrown-together post” written all over it. And this has nothing to do with my feelings about Jessica Simpson, which are apathetic at best.

It’s true, she is soooo much prettier with the natural look than as a drag queen, which is how Paves usually makes her look.
