Ghostface Killah Dedicates His Album To Natalie Portman
In the grand tradition of musicians dedicating songs to someone super random, the Wu-Tang Clan’s Ghostface Killah has dedicated his new album, “The Wizard of Poetry,” to ... Natalie Portman. In the September issue of Interview magazine, Natalie told Jake Gyllenhaal that she likes obscene rap music. Since Ghostface is all about that stuff, he just couldn’t resist shouting her out on the new album. But it gets weirder. Ghostface told the New York Post, “If you see her, give her my number. Tell her we gotta make some music together.” Great idea, Ghostface! Maybe you two could collaborate on the soundtrack for “Thor”? [NY Post]

My god that is the most random obscure music trivia I’ve ever heard. And the only reason why I don’t want her to get his number is because I’d rather she get mine.

Well, she did a great job on that rap video on SNL. I could see her in a collaboration. Didn’t he collaborate on one of the U.N.K.L.E. albums as well, or was that another member of Wu-Tang?

She did say she loves hardcore rap. I believe Ying-Yang Twins “Whisper Song” is a favorite of hers. Another reason why I would move to Iowa and make an honest woman out of her, and I’m straight.

I love Natalie Portman, she seems like she’s one of those celebs who are a lot more interesting than the press makes her out to be.

I can’t believe that she likes this kind of stuff. Well, better to give them chance to be together. Ghostface Killah isn’t so familiar to me but Natalie Portman is a lovely lady. Not only did Kanye West act like a complete tool on the Video Music Awards, but there was also the Janet Jackson 2009 VMA Performance. It was indeed a Michael Jackson tribute, with such hits like Thriller, Beat It, and so on – even including Janet performing a duet of Scream along with the video, which she recorded with her brother years ago. Later, Kanye West acted like a complete and total dolt – a vicious dunce and buffoon who ought to be shot out of a cannon. It sounds like it would have been worth personel loans to go to this year’s Video Music Awards.

@ JaronV-that was such a random response to this story!
Ghostface is super sweet in person…I bet they might get along well.

@Jaron V: Yeah, what’s up with the randomness of your reply, did you just want to put a bunch of black people in there for show or something? The story has nothing to do with the VMA’s, that story is so old now, moving on…
I think it is random, that Ghostface would decade his album to Natalie, but it seems in stride with everyone else who was part of Wu-Tang, they all have always been very random!
