Get Your Hard Candy Fix At Walmart
In August, we heard cult ‘90s makeup brand Hard Candy was coming to Walmart stores at lower prices. Well, the time to paint your nails funky colors and wear matching jelly rings has arrived. Hard Candy lipsticks, glosses, eye shadows, concealers, and, yes, nail polish, are available now. The products have retained their cute packaging and playful palette, but they’ve kicked the hefty price tag. Back when Hard Candy launched in the 1996, LA retailer Fred Segal sold bottles of pale blue polish for $18 a pop. These days, everything costs $10 or less. And, if you don’t live near a Walmart store, buy online—shipping costs just 97 cents. Needless to say, our nails will be painted forest green as soon as the postman delivers our order. I’m not sure how I feel about this.

There are people out there who don’t live near a Walmart? Lucky bastards!

I saw it in the actual store last week. The packaging is not as cute as it looks in that picture, it actually looks really junky but hey, it’s cheap and I will definitely consider it anyway.

I’m so excited. Hopefully they haven’t changed the products too much… I’m still going to buy it!

I saw this earlier today. I bought a lip gloss, but had to walk away before I had a basket full of sparkly metallic eyeshadow… hah.

Some of this looks like so much fun!
Especially in the context of going out makeup or for colorguard makeup for game days.
Although I’d be really scared to buy any of this online without inspecting it some in the stores.

I’m kind of a nail polish junkie, so I definitely want to check them out. Hope they’re good!

I saw it in-store too; definitely eye-catching. I was a little confused b/c I know Hard Candy became Urban Decay (I wanted to try to do a promo with Dineh, the founder, so I discovered that when I did some research—ANYway…!) I think the product is pretty cute. I like the packaging and it doesn’t look like they scrimped on quality. Hope that helps!
