Fox News Interview Dissolves Into Flirtfest

Here’s another example of the “quality journalism” that goes on over at Fox News. In a segment about finding jobs, anchor Ainsley Earhardt interviews Uri Man on advice for job seekers. Ainsley starts out on the right path, but is immediately sidetracked when Uri compliments her yellow ensemble. Uri returns to the topic, for a sec, creepily mentioning how he read about Ainsley and knows where she went to college. Then Ainsley comments on Uri’s pink shirt and flirts with him. @ Isabela… I was thinking the same thing.
Overall, this clip doesn’t really strike me as too bad..geeky financial guru thinks pretty newscaster is pretty. Also, I’m pretty sure most people would read up on the person they will be interviewed by.

One wonders if he, um, got a “good job” afterwards.
Personally, I’m shocked and angered to see Fox News, normally a bastion of integrity, allowing such behavior to happen. On the plus side, if they did do it, we can be sure someone filmed it through a peephole, and we’ll see stories about it, including images and video clips of it, for weeks afterwards on Fox, decrying the fact that the media is showing images and video clips of it.

Just seems manipulative to me. Way to derail any real discussion of the Stock Market/economy. And “WhatsHerName” flits (yes, flits) along with him. If only Old Walter could put them all AND O’Reilly in his pearly pipe…

@retro chic: I respect Mr. Cronkite too much to consider discussion of his “pearly pipe” to be appropriate on this on any other forum. Milton Berle? OK. Uncle Walter? No.
Oh.. wait… sorry. You meant the pipe he’d have as an angel, and that he’d put them in that pipe and smoke them. Got it. So, um, yes. Agreed. Except that O’Reilly, at least, would never make it up there.
