Finally, A Bra For The Less-Endowed

New Bra Line For Small Breasted Women

I´ve been a card carrying member of the Itty Bitty Titty Committee since puberty. If we have this in common, then let´s rejoice and burn our padded bras together: there´s a new over-the-shoulder-boulder-holder just for pebbles like ours. It’s called the Itty Bitty Bra and it does what it says: covers your itty-bitties and makes them look sexy. Taylor Swift and “Dancing With The Stars” Misty May are already fans of the line which also offers matching bikini panties and camisoles. Find them online here.

Ah! How refreshing to see a bra I’m considering buying modeled on someone with breasts similar to mine. It’s hard to tell how a bra is going to look on me when all the pictures of it are shown on women with DD’s.

ha- well its really difficult to find a bra that is DD (or bigger actually) that isn’t for someone who also has a very large rib cage or looks like it belongs on your grandmother. But I am glad for all my girlfriends that will benefit from this bra smile everybody deserves to have sexy boobs

I am doing my happy dance right now, because they sell 38A!!!! I’m glad I’m not the only one out there with such a “weird” bra size

@ duckie: With you all the way, honey! I have the same issue…good news for my friends who’d benefit from something like this, though. smile

It’s ALLLLL about padding. The bra should look like it has boobs in it without any actual boobs in the bra. That is the trick.

I don’t understand, small breasted woman can buy cute bras every were, for cheap with panties that may actually fit. But when ever I take my double d’s out for a bra all a find are huge horrible tent like things that smell like rubber or crappy demi cups that give me the “four boobed” look. Forget about the Granny panties they sell along next to them. ugh! I’m never leaving the house aging!

november82—I feel ya on that one. I almost feel like most bras are MADE for small-busted women, and that’s why they look and feel so ridiculous on those of us with great big bosoms.

however, I also imagine it’s frustrating to be smaller-chested and have every bra in your size come with enough padding to form an actual flotation device in case of emergencies.

really, all I have to contribute to this thread is that I think we need to use the phrase “over the shoulder boulder holder” more often. My mom used to say that, and seeing it in print actually made me snort coffee, I was laughing so hard.

You know, it seems to me that *everyone* has trouble finding a bra.
You’d think that manufacturers would get the hint and “support” all us disgruntled womenfolk. (Ba-dum tsst!)

(Why yes, I am a total dork, why do you ask?)

@ JuliePS and november82: Don’t even get me started on swimsuit shopping. I had to go shopping for a new one the other day (my old one’s bit the dust after having it for 3 years), and I wanted to cry because I had the most difficult time trying to find a swimsuit that didn’t look grandmotherly that would provide enough coverage and support to look decent. They make these tops not very well suited (no pun intended) for anyone above a small C cup (I’m a DD), I swear. I wear a size 6/8 dress, and I almost considered trying on plus-size suits just to get the coverage I need, even though the rest of it would’ve been too big on me. I looked at at least 10 different stores with no success. FINALLY, I found a cute suit by It Figures! that’s designed for large-busted women (they also have suits for wide hips and thick thighs, FYI), but at the store I only had 3 styles to choose from and 1 style didn’t come in my size, so I was really left with 2 suits to try IN THE ENTIRE MALL. (BTW, those suits work for up to an E/EE cup.)

@ Arsenic: I agree, I don’t understand the rationale of manufacturers, either!

OK, stepping off my soapbox now. wink

Yea I got all excited but they’re $50?! You would think it’d be cheaper because there’s less fabric used.

most of the cost of bras is from the construction- they have to be sewn by hand.  Besides, as someone who is a 36E I have no chance of finding a bra that is even close to $50- I rejoice when one is under $100! and I do a happy dance if it also looks sexy!

In regards to bathing suits, it always amazes me when companies sell bikinis as a set, not as separates.  I don’t think I know any women who are perfectly proportionate from top to bottom.
