Would You Wear These Shoes?
I have to say, these are some of the most extreme high-heels I’ve ever seen. Created by Karo’s Shoes, these skyscrapers have nine-inch heels that are more stilts than stilettos. Coupled with the leather ankle strap and the wood heel, I’d venture this is the perfect pair for hardcore shoe fetishists. Another similar model has an 8-1/2 inch invisible heel. An eight-incher is more like an extreme pump. And these are just, well, weird. The entire collection reminds me of the Christian Louboutin/David Lynch collaboration of a couple years back. The question is—do you think you could walk in a pair? [Trend de la Creme]

I thought the whole point of these shoes is that you CAN’T walk in them.

@Rose - I totally agree. I might wear these if my BF wanted me to in bed, I would think of it like lingerie. But I’m not sure how much I would enjoy it!

Yeah, no way are those walking shoes. I’d even need to change out of them to go to the bathroom.

As a former ballerina, I would love to attempt walking in these shoes—I find it pretty easy to traipse about in 4-inch heels since I’ve spent so much time on my toes, but I wonder how high up I could go. What’s most scary to me is that the “heel” of the shoe is actually under the arch of your foot, so if attempt to take a step with heel your down first (like you would in any other shoe), you’re likely taking a major digger.

I have enough trouble walking and not falling in normal shoes. To have to try to balance on less than half of the area of my foot that I have issues staying upright on anyway just seems like complete lunacy to me. And the shoes aren’t even that cute.

too fetish-y to wear with skinny jeans.

I love really high heels and they look gorgeous but definately a no no for going out in. These are certainly bedroom shoes!

My boyfriend just came in and agrees. They should only be worn pointing towards the ceiling!

My feet wouldn’t allow me to wear these. To many years in high heels can’t wear them anymore.
