Female Phillies Fan Offers Sex For World Series Tickets
It’s been raining cats and dogs here in New York City for the last 24 hours, but hopefully it’ll clear up tonight for game one of the World Series between the Yankees and the Phillies. My die-hard Yankees fan of a husband would probably give his left ... well, let’s just say he’d be really excited to go to a game, but he’s not as desperate—or as stupid, it seems—as one female Phillies fan who was arrested last night for her efforts to score tickets. Susan Finkelstein, 43, was charged with prostitution after she placed an ad on Craigslist offering sex in exchange for World Series tickets. She described herself as “gorgeous” and said: “I’m the creative type! Maybe we can help each other.” She was busted when an undercover cop responded to her ad and she allegedly offered to perform sex acts in exchange for some coveted tickets to the series. I’m going to suggest that from now on we refer to all sex-for-tickets transactions as “Finkelsteining,” in honor of our fallen Phillies fan. “How did you score those tickets?” “Oh, I Finkelsteined them.” Catchy, right? Who do you have to finkelstein to get a drink around here?
I’d be more worried about craigslist killers/rapists than some misguided attempt to score tickets.
Didn’t someone try this with tickets to the Michael Jackson funeral?

While Craigslist can be kind of scary, this whole idea seems pretty win-win to me. Consenting adults behind closed doors? Legalize it, already!

Reminds me of this story here where someone is trying to get sex with a $1,000,000 guarantee.

Not surprised! I was at a Mets Phillies game once. And there was an 8 year old boy with a Mets sign, and some busty, ugly, girl RIPPED the sign out of his hands and ripped it up! Mets fans outraged… kept there composer (mayhaps we’ve seen this before) The rowdy women was escorted out before starting a riot. Rather than fight with the fans… The other Phillies fans decided to fight security… NOT a good idea! Needless to say, some Philly fans ended up in Queens lock up with their Philly gear… I bet that was fun. Not the most classy fan base ; )

This has been done before, in the online game World of Warcraft: The Burning Crusade you gained the ability to fly on a mount, should you happen to have an extra 5000 gold you could get “epic” flight that allowed you to move at 280% Increased speed as opposed to regular flight that was 60% increased speed . At that time gold was relatively easy to come by yourself but if you were lazy you could always call on the good old $0.10 and hour gold farmers and they would “sell” you virtual gold. One woman decided that she didnt want to spend money or time getting the gold and placed an ad on Craigslist offering to have sex with whomever gave her the gold first. Pics or it didnt happen amirite? Well there were pics, and it did happen and I recently heard she is now engaged to the guy who gave her the gold. What a story for the kids “Mommy how did you and Daddy meet?” “Well you see dear, mommy was a whore for pixelated money” ... priceless

Doesn’t seem like that big a deal to me.
Then again, I wouldn’t whore myself out for the object in this world I most covet (a vintage Jaguar E-type roadster), so selling oneself for tickets to an event one could just as easily watch on television sounds completely ridiculous to me.
