In case the new 90210 and Whitney Houston’s song “Like I Never Left” didn’t already clue you in, we have a shocker—the ‘90s are BACK. Now that the ‘80s are over for the second time around, it’s time for the 1990’s to finally have a resurgence. I, for one, am pleased. The ‘90s were my decade and the comeback of comfy grunge style makes me very very very happy. After the jump, 10 modernized takes on ‘90s style. There will be flannel.

I bought a pair of striped tights around Halloween when I couldn’t figure out what to be and have been wanting to wear them on a normal day ever since. Mine are red and white—too candy cane?
