Tibi dress

Just because a dress is long and covers your stems, doesn’t mean it can’t be sexy – after all, leaving something to the imagination can be awfully alluring. Maxi (or long) dresses are all the rage for summer – while the airy skirt still keeps you cool, there’s the added protection from UV rays as a bonus, if you’re worried about that kind of thing. Catherine is – she just spent the weekend at the beach and came home with a nasty, splotchy, and painful burn all over the tops of her shins, so she’ll be living in dresses like these for the rest of the summer.

These are really beautiful. Love the madras patio dress.

Love the dresses. Would they still look good on those of us who are on the short side, though? They seem like they would work better on taller figures.

I am a big believer that if you feel at ease in an outfit, that you’re not playing dress up, you always look good. But yes, maxi dresses tend to be cut for slightly taller people, so if you’re of below average height, you might need to do some hemming.

Plenty of short actresses have been seen rocking the maxi dress. It should look good on you as long as you have it properly tailored.  I plan on picking a few maxi dresses up very soon!
