For the last couple years, the dress has been taking each season by storm. And this fall season is no different. Designers are featuring sweater dresses in a myriad of incantations, making the sweater dress a staple piece to last through winter. Patterns, whether houndstooth, floral, or geometric are also hot for fall, and look for flourishes, like a hoodie or dropwaist, that update classic shapes.

Hi Annika,
I just couldn’t resist commenting! I love sweater dresses! I’ve been a sweater dress girl for about 5 years now. Allow me to quickly introduce myself. My name’s Tia and I’m the Online Marketing and PR Specialist at Expansion Plus (PR Agency). I’m also the Community Manager for HerRoom (Online Lingerie Store).
The wonderful thing about a sweater dress is they can be worn in a dressy or casual manner! You can wear them with cowboy boots, heels, fitted jeans, tights, etc. I actually look forward to the fall cuz I can break out my old ones and collect a few new ones.
