- If you want to be sexy, wear any old black pumps. If you want to look vaguely like a dominatrix, patent leather, pointed toes and huge heels are your best bet. - No need to get all fancy with your restraints, thick silk ribbon works just as well as a kit for half the price. And it doesn’t seem as forced.

No no no! What are you, nuts?! Never EVER use silk ribbons or scarves for bondage- silk *binds*, which means it can be nigh impossible to untie at times and makes lost circulation and nerve damage more likely, which in turn leads to dangerous (and embarrassing) situations. Always use double braided rope of a soft nylon, cotton, or hemp. Rope for bondage should never be squishy or stretchy and you should *ALWAYS* have a pair of safety shears within arm’s reach for quick escapes.

And don’t hesitate to use them either- if someone is losing circulation a lost piece of rope is better than a lost limb.
Also:
- Never put pressure on the front of the neck
- Use a safety work for christsakes. And *STOP* when you hear it. For subs with gags, give them something noisy to hold (like car keys). That way they can drop it as their safe word, or, if they pass out, they will drop it automatically and so alert you to the situation.
As for corsets…
If you want a proper one (and believe me it’s worth it for comfort alone), look for spiral steel boning and super stiff busks (the front middle bone). If you are a corset virgin, get one 4” off your natural waist size. I also recommend getting an under-bust as these are generally more comfortable and easier to fit. A good corset should run you about $300. If you have the money, I definitely would recommend doing a custom corset, but that usually starts around 500 for a decent one.

While Arsenic gives good advice for actual bondage, that is definitely not the impression the article gives. For a little bit of play like what’s suggested here,there’s no reason why loose loops of ribbon won’t work. Maybe I’m mistaken but this article isn’t about S&M, it’s about adding a little bit of safe kink to your sex life.

@arsenic, nics is right: the point was nothing hard core, just a bit of play. and silk ribbon is actually fine as long as you don’t tie it in a knot, which would mean a huge pain in the ass to untie. a tight bow will pull tighter but still untie fairly easily.

The push up bra is a nice inexpensive piece. Every girl who likes a bit of kink should have all the rest. Handcuffs for definite. That corset looks great, but its an expensive piece of lingerie, but if you want quality you have to pay the right price and a good corset should last a lifetime.

Years ago, a woman “tied” me to a chair while I was in my full birthday suit. She used silk ribbons and they were very loose and tied in a ‘gift wrap’ fashion so they could be removed easily.
