Ellen DeGeneres And Portia de Rossi Open Up On “Oprah”
On yesterday’s episode, Ellen DeGeneres and her wife, Portia de Rossi, talked with Oprah about their careers, living life with compassion, and being the most high-profile lesbian couple in the world. Both Ellen and Portia discuss getting over the anxiety of publicly coming out as a lesbian, which Portia finally faced when she decided to date Ellen. “I faced every one of my fears to do it.” Portia says, “She did this for me, because I felt this overwhelming connection with her and I didn’t want to miss out. The love overcame the fear for me.” Clip above.

I was crying throughout their whole interview. What a lovely couple who are obviously so head over heels in love with each other. So refreshing.

That was a really great interview, so happy to see a really great couple, in love, instead of the constant scandals and affairs, it’s beautiful. What a great representation of a happy, healthy family.

Seriously, they are a delight to behold.
Maybe I’m reading too much into it, but why are they in separate chairs? Every couple appearing on Oprah is on a couch except for them. Just something that jumped out at me.
