DIY: Turn Everything You Touch To Silver

What You’ll Need:

  1. A glass vase or some such hollow glass item. (You can really use whatever—an old plate as a tray, the edges of a picture frame—but if you want it to look antique and distressed, it should be a glass item you’re covering the inside of.)
  2. One book of imitation silver leaf.
  3. Leafing glue
  4. One foam brush
  5. Black acrylic paint (the cheap stuff will do)

Total cost: about $22
