Remember when Jennifer Love Hewitt sported a bikini and got ragged on for having cellulite? Well, at the time, she defended her “size 2” curvy physique. But a couple years later, she not only dumped her then-fiancé, she dumped her attitude and started trash-talkin’ her old body. Now, she’s on the cover of Shape Magazine hocking her weight loss secrets. Our guess on how she did it, based on our reaction: puke, a lot. But actually, Hewitt thanked her boyfriend, comedian Jamie Kennedy, for inspiring her to be skinnier. Ugh, look, we don’t want to rain on anyone’s self-pride parade, but come on now, J.Love. What happened? Why can’t you just be like, “I’m hot at any size!” And seriously, if your BF was the reason you lost weight, you should lose him too. Anyway, bad vibes aside, we understand celebs are under a lot of pressure to look good and it makes them do craaaaaaazy things. So rather than cry about the state of the female body image, let’s laugh at celebs’ ridiculous “diet plans.” Oh, and the men are just as bad …

Beyonce also said that diet made her feel weak and like she couldn’t think straight. I’d like to laugh at these crazy diets but they’re just too sad.

I’m not opposed to actors losing/gaining weight for roles; it’s what they get paid millions of dollars to do. Hell, for the right price, I’d Master Cleanse myself 20lbs thinner…
Some of these don’t seem so out there though. The Cabbage Soup Diet is nuts, but Pasternack’s seems pretty sound.

OK, I wasn’t sure if Jennifer Aniston and I were actually compatible until I read this.
Baby food is my secret love. Well, not so secret anymore. And not all baby food. But some of it is damned tasty, comes in small snack-sized containers, and doesn’t have a lot of junk added to it. I’ve been eating it on occasion my entire life.
I nearly cried when I found out that Gerber Fruit Dessert no longer was what it used to be. That probably means it used to be unhealthy crammed-with-tapioca garbage. But, by God, it was tasty unhealthy crammed-with-tapioca garbage. I continue to lament the loss.

The Cabbage Soup Diet gave my mom an ulcer back in the 70s (possibly the early 80s…). When she told me that is about when I decided fad diets were crazy and exercise was the way to go.

Why is there such a merry-go-round of celebrities being called “fat”, then defending themselves, only to go out and lose a lot of weight and “reemerge” with a thinner figure?
What is it? Are you proud of your body no matter what, or are you giving in to what douches are saying to you just so that they can sell extra magazines when you are hospitalized for “exhaustion” (read: anorexia)??????
