Crave: The Wonderbar (Win One!)
Conventional beauty wisdom tells you to never, ever use a bar of soap on your face. Now meet Wonderbar, a product that throws all of that out the window. The face soap is made from Austrian Heilmoor, a clay created over 3,000 years ago, which has a detoxing effect on your skin. Work up a lather on your face, let it sit for a minute or two, and notice how your skin instantly tightens. The other benefits read a bit like a miracle product: Clear acne! Deep cleansing! Smoothing! Lightens pigmentation! And now yours for the low, low, price of…free! If you win one in this week’s giveaway. Otherwise… [$40, Wonderbar.com]
We’re giving away three Wonderbars, but you have to work if you want to win. The best commenter for this coming week—from today, Friday, July 3 through Thursday, July 9—will be awarded with one. So, be as clever, smart, and original as you can! Click HERE to read the official rules.

I now officially know that I am a starving college student. When I saw the word ‘Wonderbar’ my first thought was “They’re giving away candy bars now? I’ve gotta win me one of these!”
But, you know, super-soap is cool too.

hmm… kinda weirded out by the “Lightens pigmentation!” I am not someone who needs my pigment lightened… is this specifically for someone with dark skin to be whiter looking? If so, ew.

@LaRosa- It’s probably more for people with uneven skin complexions and dark spots from sun damage. At least, that’s just what I assumed. It’s not like it was made by L’Oreal.

Wonderbar seems like the perfect name for this product considering everything it claims to do! I think if I won one I wouldn’t stop at just washing my face with it, I could use help all over! LOL

LaRosa - Lightening pigmentation? You’ll understand when your age starts with 4… or maybe earlier. Age spots, sun damage—things like that. I’m 46 and have a big OLD age spot on my cheek…. man, send me a bar! I love my freckles but when they get bigger than a pencil eraser? Show me thewonderbar!!!

I think we all have some sort of complexion issue and this truly sounds like a miracle in the form of a bar. Just the tightening would smooth out the wrinkles and the lightening and blending of the tones would be wonderful for me and sounds so promising.

When I washed my face lastnight,
I looked in the mirrow and said, Oh what a sight!
Im 27, why is my face such a mess?
This is something that needs to be addressed.
So I found the Wonderbar,
Could this be my North Star?
Maybe it would help me see the light if day,
Could The Frisky possibly give me one today?
Please?

Having recently celebrated my 29th birthday (for the 11th time), I purchased a Wonderbar since I couldn’t afford Botox. It truly is a miracle product and I am hoping to win a free bar since I am now on a budget due to the recession.
I constantly get carded while out purchasing my wine and I attribute my youthful looks to my Wonderbar. If I had to pick wine or a Wonderbar in the monthly budget, that would be a very tough choice so I am entering this contest in hopes that I won’t have to make that choice.
Thanks for the opportunity to allow me to still put my wine in the budget for now.
P.S. I will be the first to tell you if someone invents a Wonderbar for cellulite, I WILL be the first in line and I WILL blow any budget for that!

Can’t help thinking what the local Austrian natives were using this stuff for 3000 years ago. Spackling their huts? Painting their faces and scaring the bejesus out of the Romans?
Whatever… If it will take a little time off my face, please sign me up.

The Wonderbra lifts the girls and it sounds like the Wunderbar does the same for your face.

I’ve never tried $40.00 soap - I challenge anyone to show me what it can do better than a $1.00 bar!

I love this soap. Not only is deep cleaning but also perfect for uneven pigmentation which is something I have suffered from for years. It sounds like the perfect soap!

I wonder if this soap will help get rid of my turtle neck (and no I don’t mean my sweater). I have rolls on my neck that I have had my whole life (skinny or not), and when I was little, the kids used to tease me and call me teenage mutant ninja turtle. I remember the boy I had a big crush on in elementary told me one day that I was his little turtle. How insulting and endearing all at the same time!
