Crave: Moisturize Your Horse Hair
Last night I was watching Blades of Glory and a big joke in the movie was that Will Ferrell’s ice-skating character, who is obsessed with his hair, uses Mane & Tail horse shampoo. It’s actually not funny. Fashion and beauty editors have lauded the powerful conditioning skills of the brand—Lucky has included it in the magazine several times. So maybe people should stop knocking Chazz Michael Michaels and go out and buy some Mane & Tail themselves. I’m going to. [Medicice]

I used Mane & Tail back in the day. It doesn’t really suit my hair because my hair is super thin. I’m actually on a quest for good shampoo’s if anyone has any recommendations.

A really fabulous shampoo for us thinner hair girls is LUSH’s “BIG” shampoo. It’s my favorite!

It’s a little expensive, but all you need is a pinky-full, even on very long hair.

Nice, thanks! I’ll give it a try and see what happens. Fingers crossed! This has also inspired me to start a beauty thread on the forums.

Shannon! Great call - I was just about to post Big.
Lush makes fantastic shampoos - I use Big but I also like Cynthia Sylvia Stout when I need some shine and volume - and some beer in my hair.
