ha. i saw the real deal—a genuine giant boombox with an ipod mysteriously attached via cable—in williamsburg a year ago. i’d say the hipster cred of this item has declined now that it’s ‘officially’ commercially available. i’m still holding out for one of those pastel (i remember pink and lavender) girl boomboxes my best friend had.
