Craigslist’s New “Adult Services” Is The Same ‘Ol “Erotic” Thing

After the whole Craigslist Killer thing, everyone’s fave website has been getting serious heat to regulate the ads on their site. So yesterday, the company announced it was nixing the “erotic services” section, and morphing it into “adult services.” The diff? The company will now review each post before it goes live. How they’ll do that with a staff of 28 people has yet to be clarified. For kicks, let’s compare and contrast the two sections. Just like in high school English class. [Washington Post]

Analysis: Uh, these two posts look so similar we hope callers don’t call the “All-American Blond” the “Sexy Asian Beauty” in the heat of the moment. And, um, do those pics have anything to do with massages? Yeah, that’s what we thought.

Analysis: So, just because the first poster claims to be a model, the ad is totally legit? Come on, these two posts look virtually the same. If they were children, we would say they have the same baby daddy.



So, what do you think? Is the new “Adult Services” section going go to help prevent murders, rapes, and other horribleness? Is this a step in the right direction? Cause we don’t know what to make of the whole thing.
