Hey, remember how we looked back at all the airbrushing scandals of the last year? Well here’s another! Kim Kardashian was photographed for the cover of Complex magazine, but I guess they forgot to Photoshop one of the images they used. It’s since been fixed on the website—Skinnier? Check! Whiter? Check!—but not before Animal NY could snag the before and after! [via Gawker]

Ha! I know those bitches couldn’t be that perfect.
I never feel bad anymore thinking how “perfect” these celebs are, cause they really aren’t and are more effed up than we think.

It’s pretty sad that they had to lighten her up. The makeup is so severe. I am not really a big fan of hers but I have to admit that the girl looks even more gorgeous when she is makeup free.

All I have to say is I could be way hot if I had a professional air brusher to “fix” me!!

lighting up a photo is a quick way to lessen imperfections, they do it on everyone not just darker skinned gals. It fades away the little flaws.

I honestly don’t see what’s wrong with the before picture. The “imperfections” we’re so eager to cover are often the most interesting and beautiful parts of the human form. How I wish we could get used to being who we are. Perfection is boring.

Wow you guys have no idea… I work for a compnay that does retouching for magazines. I just wanted to show you guys the typical amount of re-touching that is done. I posted two examples on my blog, http://www.sufferingfromnostalgia.blogspot.com They are for a magazine that hasn’t been printed yet so you will see it on stands soon! It’s so sick what they do, I’ve seen peoples freckles be taken off, and that’s just what they’re skin looks like! Never assume people actually are as perfect as they look… I think Kim’s butt dimples are a great example.

Sorry for my third post but I have lots to say about this. If you look close at the two pics you can see that they did more then smooth her butt. The decreased and reshaped her chest slightly, and smoothed her tummy bulge on the right. Sometimes I just want to take examples like this to a high school and show it to the girls. My body image was so wacked when I was in high school, that would have helped me!
