Good for Clay! Cool for him, too, on becoming a dad. I’ve never really cared for Clay Aiken but now I dislike him less.

Is clay starting to look a little like Tootsie? Or is it just the slight makeup?
And boy, does he need some sunlight. He looks sickly.

Yeah!! Good for him. Finally! Now we can love him fully. You can always tell when someone has a secret. Now he can just relax and be the Man that he wants to be and he’ll be a great father.

This is professional suicide in many ways. As a ‘crooner’ and as a special education teacher. I don’t know why people feel they have to announce their sexual orientation though. It’s not like we have to walk around with a sign on us saying if we are gay or straight; so why even get into it?
Now that it is out; he is making himself more vulnerable. Why do you have to ‘tell’ your child if you are gay or straight? It’s not like he is living with a man and pretending they are just friends ?
@groovy karma This whole “who we have to announce our sexual orientation” argument is pretty homophobic in my opinion—no one expects straight people to keep quiet about their love lives! Clay was hiding who he was, maintaining a lie that he was “straight” or “asexual”. I really respect his decision to discuss the fact that he’s gay—doing so shows courage and pride in who he is, two attributes that he will no doubt pass down to his son.

omg what a fagget! god created adam and eve not adam and steve! he needs to just go hide in a freaking box because nobody likes gay people and for the rest of you faggets yall just need to go find something else to do besides be on a computer thats what straight people do!!
@ghjhjghj - So by your logic, computer use is a privilege reserved for straight, bigoted people like yourself? Are those of us who are straight but happen to stand by that whole “all men are created equal” thing allowed to be here too, or shall we just leave you to propagate your hateful views and go fishing?
Perhaps, like the other thread about Aiken that resulted in offensive statements better kept to one’s homophobic self, this thread should be put to rest.
