Chanel presented its spring 2010 collection this morning in Paris, taking a much cheekier route than its usual sleek, highbrow runway show. This time,
Karl Lagerfeld drew upon his past (having grown up on a farm) outfitting the Grand Palais with a replica of Marie Antoinette’s farm house, complete with barnyard accouterments and hay. Chanel’s latest muse,
Lily Allen, performed as models showed off flirty outfits—schoolgirl skirts with milkmaid headscarves, red-white-and-blue garden party dresses, creamy clogs, and floral crocheted jackets. E-I-E-I-O, indeed. Click through for more from the runway.

That is some crazy a$$ $h!t. I guess I just don’t get fashion.
I love how Karl Lagerfeld looks like he is doing a narrative song and dance about the orgy in the haystack.
