Casey Johnson Found Dead At Age 30
Yesterday morning, embattled socialite and Johnson & Johnson heiress Casey Johnson was found dead in Los Angeles. TMZ reported her death last night. Johnson was engaged to Tila Tequila, who posted a flurry of, um, confused and confusing tweets about her fiancée’s passing, which you can read after the jump. There’s no official cause of death, but according to TMZ, Johnson hadn’t been heard from since Dec. 29 and her phone had been cut off. Johnson was recently arrested for grand theft and is the mother of an adopted daughter, who has been in the custody of Johnson’s parents. Her dad, incidentally, is the owner of the New York Jets, who just made their way into the playoffs this weekend. The LAPD has opened a death investigation.
After the jump, those tweets from Tila Tequila, who I’m sure is deeply saddened by her fiancée’s death, but probs shouldn’t be using this as an opportunity to bond with her Twitter followers.

I feel really bad for her family and for Tila, but, come on. “I want privacy” should NOT be synonymous with “I’m going to keep tweeting and get as much attention as I can”.

then tweet tweet tweet. Best way to get privacy Ms. Tequila would be to put down your phones, step away from your computer, and stay away from public places/venue’s.

I think she’s more upset that she lost her meal ticket.

@SueSue: *points to nose*
I feel most sorry for the adopted daughter, who has to add this to the series of tragedies in her life. Yes, surely, she’ll be fine financially, but the poor kid just had yet another person in her life leave her. I hope she ends up OK.

There’s much more it seems to this story than just a couple of tweets. According to ABC News, Casey may have passed away as early as Dec 30.
No one had spoken to her or seen her since a fight with Tila on Dec 29,2009. How many newly engaged “concerned” fiancees would not be totally pissed off if they didn’t even hear from their partner on NYE? Especially one as attention craving as her Tila?
Now I’m not saying Tila did anything, I’m just saying what most of us think… that she was in it for the money.

@lyntegra82 - Damn! Even if she was just in it for the money, you’d think she would try to check up on her investment over the holiday, no?

@ SueSue
Well, considering Tila’s “allergic” to alcohol, you’d think she’d be sober enough on NYE to at least try contacting her.
I know if I was spending NYE away from my fiancee (even after a fight), and he was not calling me back, I’d be trying to reach him any way possible, and sending someone to check in way sooner than several days after the fact.
Heck, it’s not just on Tila… her family knew she had diabetes, they should’ve called in a police welfare check long before this too.
Like I said, I’m not saying she did anything, I’m just saying this whole thing sounds fishy in general. Like you said, Tila lost her meal ticket, and that poor little daughter lost a mom.
Man I wish there was something else in the news today.

Wow Tila, you REALLY want your privacy don’t you?? You’re a heartless bitch without any common sense.

If you want privacy you don’t go on a public site and talk about your problems personal or other wise.
Sorry meal ticket died Tila, at least no one will be using her for money anymore. I’m sure she’ll get over it in a week and be on to the next money maker.
I feel bad for the adopted daughter, she was already in a dispute between Casey and Casey’s grandmother over her.

@lyntegra82 - you’re right, there’s definitely something fishy about NO ONE contacting this girl for a few days right around New Years. It’s a damn shame.
And yeah, I feel sorry for the adopted daughter too, and not so sound too harsh, but what kind of upbringing would she have had with a mother who would marry someone like Tila on top of having Tila as a step mother?? She’s probably better off with Casey’s parents or grandparents anyways.

Well Tela might be an attention whore….but to her defense, she is pregnant and that’s a rough thing to go through. I dont think she was in it for the money considering she could have gotten some other men and women with just as much or more money.
