Carrie Underwood‘s new video for “Cowboy Casanova” is a bit of a departure for her. For some reason, I think this song sounds the way Pink might if she went a little country—this ain’t sweet and pop-y like Taylor Swift. But maybe I get this feeling because Carrie’s sporting some scandalous corset costumes and the lyrics sound a little aggressive.

Um, why do I get the Shania Twain Late 90s vibe? But super cool and fun.
And if I was wearing a corset like that I would make damn sure they made my waist smaller!

When your talent doesn’t sell as much as you’d like you gotta sell something else. I don’t take them seriously anymore when they do and I actually stop listening to them….at one time I really liked Janet Jackson until she put her ‘stuff’ up front as well. Society and record companies have taught young women they must sell their sex and body to be of the most value.

I think her waist looks friggin’ fantastic! And, more importantly, looks like she can actually fit her vital organs inside! She’s a very attractive and healthy weight. In fact, one of the first things I thought was how amazing she looks in those outfits. Great silhouette, healthy glow!

Carrie Underwood = hot. She should have been Esquire’s Sexiest Woman Alive. Kate Beckinsale is great, but it should have been a three-way contest between Carrie, Blake Lively and Katy Perry.
