Would You Let Your Man Wear Drop-Crotch Pants?
Maybe there are a few gentleman out there sporting unisex trends like Ugg boots and Longchamps bags but a certain foreign import might be making the next big splash in unisex fashion: Drop-crotch pants. Shops like Zara, H&M and Topshop have already jumped on the drop-crotch pant bandwagon after the trend hit the streets of Europe.
I found that some of my craftier, fashion pioneer friends were making their pants from MC Hammer Pants Simplicity patterns or getting them custom made. Unlike the Hammer pants, the sides on these genie-like thingies don’t billow out but cling instead and taper at the ankles. Despite its clear flaws, it does have benefits like elongating your torso and letting ones package breathe. The jury is still out on whether these will be hipster cool or just plain weird. I don’t know girls, is it time to let your man drop-crotch it like its hot? [$44 Topshop]

To answer the headline question: No. And neither should anyone else.

Nooo. Crossovers and Hybrids are barely an option for cars, let alone fashion. Trendsetting logic: Out of good ideas?—Melt down and Recycle the bad ones. Women’s Harem pants didn’t fly, no problem—let’s run with the men’s version! For the non-Manskirt wearing dude—wear this hybrid!

People, just because an item is on store shelves doesn’t mean we have to buy it. Say no to the sag. If we ignore it, then it will quietly go away.

Word. I wouldn’t let anyone I know wear drop-crotch pants, regardless of gender!

see, the whole reason I prefer pants is that lack of chafing factor. This seems to let that very important consideration fall by the wayside.

Would I “let” him? sure. Would I let him wear them around me, or in public with me? no.

hehe if a man is being “allowed” or “permitted” to wear certain pants, he needs to run lol. Same for either gender, are the in agreement with a fashion choice? maybe not but nobody should worry about what they are allowed to wear lol.
PS those pants do look horrendous lol
