Sacha Baron Cohen sat down for an interview with Matt Lauer on “The Today Show” this morning, only, as expected, he did it as “Bruno.” Awkwardly hilarious from the get-go.

Thanks for the morning laugh. It was so silent everytime he made a Hitler joke.

Matt Lauer did a good job, I’m sure it is hard to interview the Cohen characters without getting into trouble laughing at the stuff he says.

@Riley: I think I heard a stifled “heh” that counts as a Matt laugh.

But interviewing “Bruno” must be like talking to a Muppet - totally insane for Matt.

Sacha’s hilarious. On the edge, over the top, but not over the line (except for those times when he is).

I can’t wait to watch this movie.

It is kind of funny to hear Cohen begin to lose his Austrian accent near the end.

My friend Brennen looks exactly like Bruno, and he’s gay like him and everything- they could pass for brothers. About 2 weeks ago, Brennen was so confused, he couldn’t figure out why everybody was calling him Bruno….then we had to show him the movie trailer.
