Brooke Burke is tearing it up on “Dancing with the Stars” every week, and we realized we haven’t thought much about her since she hosted that spring break-like travel show on E! Here’s a little background so you can speak intelligently about the brunette while discussing her Quickstep performance with your coworkers.
LOVES: Before getting married to Beverly Hills plastic surgeon Dr. Garth Fisher in 2001, Burke had been proposed to nine times and engaged four times. The two split in 2005 and have two children together, Sierra Sky and Neriah. Burke is currently engaged to former “Baywatch” and “Melrose Place” star and David Charvet. The woman is the very definition of “serial monogamist,” but we think she and Charvet will stay together—he speaks French fluently.
FAMILY: Burke has the hottest body we’ve ever seen woman who has given birth to four children: Neriah Fisher, Sierra Sky Fisher, Heaven Rain Charvet, and Shaya Charvet. She certainly wants to make sure her kids fit in with the other strange-named Hollywood children. It took Burns and Charvet almost a month to name their youngest, Shaya.
CAREER: Burke won her first beauty pageant at age 14 and had her first boob job at 19. You might say she blossomed early. Modeling stints for Venus Swimwear and Frederick’s of Hollywood followed. Burke got B-list famous when she hosted E!’s travel show ”Wild On” from 1999-2002. She has appeared in Playboy, Maxim, and a number of other magazines, and now has her own swimwear line, Barely Brooke. Oh, and she has appeared in a video for Gunnar Peterson’s Core Secrets. Here latest venture is a website, BabooshBaby.com, on which she shares her secrets or getting back her pre-pregnancy body (including something called ”Tauts," which you wrap around your stomach for 40 days after giving birth). Quite the entrepreneur!
CREW: Burke’s first daughter with Fisher, Neriah, is named after former Playboy Playmate Neriah Davis. Davis, Burke, and their friend Nikki Ziering (who was married to “Beverly Hills, 90210” star Ian Ziering) all met at a Frederick’s of Hollywood Catalog shoot early in their careers. But these days, she is probably spending most of her time practicing with “Dancing with the Stars” partner Derek Hough.

yeah, brooke burke is one of those people whose name i’ve heard for what seems like ages. i never knew why she was “famous"--i’m glad i know so i can dismiss her from my curious brain.

I have to admit I was shocked when Brooke did so well on Dancing. She just seems to have it all together all the time.
