British Porn Mag For Women Models Only “Feminine” Men

Filament, a pornography magazine for women

Laaaaaaaaaaaaaa-dies! We’ve got a new porno mag out over in England!

But unfortunately, Filament received a sour review from the Daily Mail, which hissed, “Most of the boys pictured are effeminate and not arousing.”

Indeed, we, too, are flabbergasted with Filament‘s idea of what makes women wet. Apparently it’s skinny boy-men with soft features who either outright look like Rufus Wainwright or look like Rufus groupies. The porn mag’s web site explains Filament relied on both published academic research and their own online research to discover what turns women on and they came up with specifics like “men who are not muscle-bound” and “men with more feminine face shapes.”

No thanks! To each her own, we guess.

We like testosterone with our man meat, so Filament‘s idea of “porn” is a total dud. I mean, we’ve seen David Beckham in underwear ads that are more sexy and erotic than this “erotica,” which is so passive and, well, limp. (But consider the source: we’ve gone on record stating our love of aggressive sex, so we could rub away all day to Filament‘s erotic offerings to no avail.)

We’ve always heard the reason teenage girls supposedly like “effeminate” guys like Hanson, the Jonas Brothers and Chace Crawford is because girly-guys are less sexually threatening and therefore less “scary.” That makes sense to us (we certainly definitely weren’t daydreaming about getting boned by Taylor Hanson back in 1998, just staring into his pretty eyes). And so, too, it makes sense that the sample erotic images on Filamaent‘s web site are all shot above the waist. No scary penises here!

If anyone’s bought the mag, we’d be curious to know if there’s any actual peen inside…

I think the models are sexy. But where’s the peen? I like my porn to be pornographic.

100%, I want some pork in my porn, too, Simcha, uh, Whitehill. When did we get all formal all of a sudden!? Haven’t we been introduced before? But Jeez, what’s with the Brits? Even the movie “The Full Monty” had none atall! I am angry and resentful we women are still subject to the same ol’ fairy tale “The Emporor’s Hose.”

I love me some scrawny effeminate men but I like peen with it too…I thought I found something perfect until I read it was all waist-up. ::sigh:: I guess I’ll have to keep hoping…

Well, it IS called “Filament” and not “Meat” I guess. I could not get hot over a man that I could beat up.

No cock? Pfff. That said, I am happy this is out there. I almost got up to get my shoes, keys and some sort of hunting net in preparation to go look for that boy in the pic up there.

Hi there. New here, but I wanted to comment on this.
I know girls that like those super big muscle men, and
some who like skinny nerdy types. I’m kind of in between,
I prefer somewhat muscular nerds. It is nice to see though, considering how little porn there even is for women(compared to porn geared toward men), that it’s not all big muscle men. Gives us some variety, considering we don’t all like the same type of guy.

i’m a lesbian, but i kinda like the feminine men. and i’m not the only dyke to say that.

so i’m wondering how many of those women are bi or late bloomers, and just not ready to ‘go there’.

Hi…I’m new here too…

I also am not into the bulked up veiny men who like themselves a little too much.  Some muscle is definitely nice, but….

Yeah the guy in the photo is yummy….

I really like the idea of this magazine. I’m glad women like myself (who prefers a man with feminine features) are finally being catered to the realm of porn. The guy in the first picture is really quite sexy. Looks almost exactly like Ville Valo from the Finnish rock band HIM.

i hate the muscular look, but i still like my men to look like men:  broad shoulders, arm and chest hair, a happy trail, a male body.  i don’t like super skinny or effeminate boys!

As a skinny semi-feminine male, I approve, its about time there was some skinny guy love.

As a side note, how does this qualify as porn if all shots are from above waist?

That guy in the pic is HOT. If they all look like that, bring it on! Call me a perpetual teenybopper, but I do prefer the artsy-looking pretty boys over the uber masculine looking types…and wasn’t there a mag in Brooklyn like this too? Sweet Action, skinny cuties that look like they would cuddle post coitus?

I certainly applaud the effort!  For us straight gals, there just isn’t much out there that even TRIES to titillate us, either in print or online.  But, that’s why I love The Frisky!  Finally, a web site for women that isn’t afraid to show hot men!

Just to be clear, the pics on Filament’s web site were all above the waist—I don’t know if there are below-the-waist photos in the actual paper mag. You’ll all have to buy a copy of Filament to see if there’s actual peen!

Well the alternative body shape is certainly nice, since photos of naked muscular men can be found in gay porn mags, but I can see why the urban dandy body shape doesn’t appeal to all women. Personally? My kind of yummy, pity I can’t get a copy.

Since when are manly men “scary”?  The guys I’ve dated have mostly been stocky, bearish guys, and all of them were nice. Not scary at all.

I don’t like the freakishly hypermuscular young-Arnold-Schwartzenegger look, but that guy in the picture above looks like he’s about 15.  No, thanks!

How about some variety?  A few boyish types, a few rugged Sean Bean types, a few polished-but-edgy Taye Diggs types, etc.  We don’t all like the same things.  I don’t like them all skinny, shaved, and scrubbed pink, but apparently some women do.
