Bliss ingrown hair eliminating pads

Aside from being unsightly, ingrown hairs are actually kind of uncomfortable. And sneaky. What are those hairs doing growing back into our follicles anyway? We don’t like it. Apparently, Bliss feels the same way and sells these alpha and beta hydroxy-based Ingrown Eliminating Pads. Swipe them over your problem spots daily and you’ll notice a legitimate improvement in a few days. Seriously. Couple the pads with loofah-ing in the ingrown areas and those telltale red bumps will disappear entirely in a couple of weeks. [$38, Bliss, Sephora]

I tried these pads for a couple weeks and I haven’t seen any improvement. I’m sure it’s not the pads fault though. I think all the bumps and ingrown hairs down there are my bodies way of telling me that I don’t deserve to get laid.

Loofahing like crazy is what will get rid of them in my experience.  Or at least help.

@*sam*: did you ever try waxing?  It’s not the most comfortable sensation, but I find it really helped. It was either wax, or pull out every. single. hair myself.

Epsom salt helps with ingrown hairs!!  I actually keep a solution in a lidded cup on the back of my toilet and swab my pubic region at least twice a day.  The only warning I have: don’t let it get the liquid anywhere near your mouth.  I made the mistake of trying to bite a hangnail before washing my hands…. That is the one taste apple juice cannot erase.  :gags:

@Lily I don’t doubt they work for a lot of people. Most people, probably. I’ve just tried everything to make my lady bits nice and smooth and nothing has worked. My skin down there is just SUPER sensitive no matter what I do. These pads were my last resort. 70’s bush, here I come!
