Beauty Test Drive: Benefit Crescent Row Fragrances
We know and love Benefit’s cosmetics well—their Bad Gal eyeliner and Dr. Feelgood complexion primer have been makeup bag staples forever—but we don’t exactly think of them first when it comes to perfume. Strike that notion, because their newish Crescent Row line beats out any old Britney Spears fragrance launch any day. In fact, we bring them up now because the gorgeously ornate, fold-out boxes they come in make them a great holiday gift idea. Out of the three scents ($36 each), you’re bound to find one that’s perfect for a friend or yourself, ahem. There’s Something About Sophia, a blend of oriental blossoms, mango and vanilla; Laugh With Me Lee Lee, a woody floral blend of jasmine and lily; and My Place Or Yours Gina, an intriguing mix of red pepper, patchouli and wild raspberry. We love the vintage cocktail shaker bottle, too. So cute.

I love the packaging, but am not crazy about the scents at all. I want to love them, but they smell cheap to me : (
