Are Women Too Insecure To Have Sober Sex?

The Daily Mail released another one of their sensational studies yesterday. This time the researchers cast their glare to women, drinking and their ability (or lack thereof) to have sex sober. “One in 20 women has NEVER had sex sober as they lack body confidence” screams the headline.
According to a study of 3, 000 women aged 18-50, the average chick has had sex with over half of their sexual partners while drunk. On at least two occasions said ladies haven’t remembered the name of the guy lying next to them. But keep in mind, the average number of sex partners amongst this pool is “8,” so it isn’t as if these numbers are staggering. Well, it might help…so, at least the first couple times, booze might not hurt…but it seems that this is mostly aimed at the bed-hoppers, so, well, in that case, it’s not a good idea

Not I. One partner, been with him for 5 years, have never had sex drunk.
Typically women are now often in the atmosphere of drinking before they finds their guy, therefor being drunk often when they go to have sex..

Well I don’t think that making love while drunk is not good. Being sober is quite ok. Actually my cousin got pregnant because she made love with this man under the influence of alcohol, I know that she is very careful but because they’re both drunk they didn’t use any contraceptive resulting to unwanted pregnancy. Of course they need some faxless payday loans to ensure the pregnancy check-up since she want to continue it. But after giving birth good thing the guy married her and so far they doing fine, so my honest suggestion, “Don’t do it unless you are drunk, it might be one good orgasm but enough to mess your whole life.”

When a woman has conflicts about sex, usually due to childhood sexual abuse or rape, dulling her senses and mind with booze makes the situation tolerable and drowns the negative feelings associated with the sexual act.
A woman that admits to having NEVER or RARELY had sober sex needs to see a therapist to work through her abuse issues and the negative associations she has of her body and sexuality. She is incapable of experiencing true emotional or sexual intimacy while drunk, which is very telling.

Trust the Daily Mail to get it so completely wrong… The truth is that women prefer to have sex whilst intoxicated because they have lack confidence in the body of their partner… The old “beer goggles” story turned on it’s head!

I don’t drink, period, and every time I’ve had sex has been completely sober. I’ve also had the lights on (or been in daylight) plenty of times.

I had an experience with one girl, if she was sober she was insecure and just lay on the bed and not really interact. But is he had a few drinks she was loose, very active and into it.

Well I dont think that it is insecure as much as inhibited by sexual stereotypes or standards for just women and sex. I think Alcohol allows a woman to forget about the sexual role that she is supposed to be playing and do what makes her feel good.

I’m only self conscious when it comes to one night stands. Other than that I hate drunk sex; alcohol numbs me up too much.
